I like singing all kinds of music, but I love R&B and Urban the best. I like singing
Standards, Oldies, Blues, Gospel, Some Country and Spanish. Some of my favorite
female vocalists are Dinah Washington, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday,
Linda Ronstadt, Eddie Gorme, Doris Day, Rosemary Clooney and Patsy Cline. New
singers I like are Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, and Ashanti. These are just the
female vocalists I have a long list of male vocalists that I admire.
The very first song I learned when I was 2 was a song made popular in the 1920's
by Ruth Etting, titled "Mean To Me". (my mom sang it to me when I was a baby).
I perform at non-profit and charitable events, also Senior Centers & Convalescent
Hospitals. When performing for older adults I choose songs that may bring back
memories for them, so I choose songs from the 20's, 30's, 40's & 50's. Some of
these songs I have to sing A'Capella, I don't mind singing A'Capella, because that
is how I first learned to sing.

My greatest wish is, to one day be a successful recording
artist . With the help of my parents, sister and friends
we are working toward that dream. I entered my first
vocal competition in May of 2000, at the age of 9. That
was the California State Vocal Competition in San Jose.
I entered in three categories and won in all three. I
didn't have any voice training at that point and still I
won "Grand Champion". I now have over 30 first place
and grand champion trophies and awards from various
vocal competitions. I won The Apollo Kid's Talent Search
in Sacramento California and performed at the Apollo Theater in New York City.
